| Here are a
number of PowerPoint talks on The Da Vinci Code in general
or various aspects thereof. These are presented to help seekers
and Christians get a feel for the historical reliability the claims of
the novel over against those of biblical Christianity. Some of
these talks were prepared for a two-day seminar on the subject held at
Biblical Theological Seminary in the spring of 2004; most were prepared
for a one-day seminar and three-credit course given in the spring of
2006 at the same place. The Talks are available as htm files for viewing with a browser, or as downloadable Powerpoint files. Some of the talks also have an audio track in mp3 format. Please note that the web versions show only completed presentation slides, without the "build-up" of the Powerpoint "Slide Show" presentations. |

manuscript of the lost Gospel of Judas allows us to sample its
contents. It appears to be the work mentioned by Irenaeus in his
2nd century work Against Heresies, and shows us a version of Gnosticism
in which Judas performs the “mystery of the betrayal” allowing spirit
to escape from the world of matter. |

The Interdisciplinary Biblical Research Institute is

group of Christians who see a desperate need for men and women

of the complete reliability of the Bible who will:
(1) get training both in
Biblical
studies and in some other academic discipline, and
(2) use this training to help
other Christians deal with the many areas where non-Christian teaching
is so dominant today.
We believe that such trained people can be effective
